Thick anti-chafing cream with the consistency of wax to provide a long-lasting effect. The product creates a protective barrier to reduce friction, irritation, and soothes the skin. It prevents problems caused by sweating and chafing, as well as sores, blisters and uncomfortable burning sensation. Due to its high lanolin, beeswax, shea butter and plate-based silicone content, it has a long-lasting effect. The product has a refreshing and unique citrusy-minty scent.

As opposed to Vaseline, this GUARD antifriction balm has a high lanolin content, so it does not “run” during sports activities, but forms a long-lasting film that effectively repels sweat and still lets the skin breathe. Lanolin (also known as wool wax or wool grease) is a waxy substance with similar properties to the sebum secreted by human skin. It creates an air-permeable film layer on the skin and helps to retain moisture. It is often used in “nipple creams” to treat cracked and dry nipples caused by breastfeeding.

How to use

Apply a generous amount before sports activity onto the areas prone to chafing. There is no need to massage it in. (Areas of application: lumbar region, thighs, feet, arms, neck, armpits, nipples, bra lines, pulse strap etc.)

Shea butter:

It softens, nourishes and regenerates the skin, protects the skin from drying out, and restores skin elasticity. Beeswax:

It helps the skin retain moisture, and as such, boosts its elasticity, since it has water-repellent properties as well. A cream with beeswax content is a perfect choice for dry skin.

Lanolin:

Also known as wool wax or wool grease. It retains moisture, so it has strong moisturizing and skin-softening properties and allows active ingredients to get absorbed into the deeper layers of skin. It protects and restores dry, cracked, flaky or itchy skin. It is a “miracle compound” in protective creams to treat sore nipples due to breastfeeding. It is effective for the treatment of chapped lips, cracked nailbeds, chafed skin, diaper rash, skin peeling, and scratches.
